The Final for the 2010 SYSU Wnter Break Public Cause Event of Social Practicum Took Place

The final for the 2010 SYSU winter break public cause event of social practicum took place on the east campus on April 23nd. 13 teams that had stood out from 81 teams, and gave their best performances as a way to thank the sponsor, Air TAC Charitable Foundation and leaders of our school, and were conffered upon the awards by leaders and teachers from several departments. Deng Kailin, Vice-president of Air TAC Charitable Foundation, Wang Tianqi, Director of Students’ Department of SYSU, Chen Changling, Vice-president of Students’ Department of SYSU, and students representatives were present at the event.

Since its inception in 2007, SYSU’s social cause event has been held for five times. Taking in various of form with greater focus, it has witnessed an increase of student involvement and a greater social impact. The theme of the event, “serve the society and contribute love” coincides with the concept of public charity of Air TAC enterprise group “bear the duty and contribute to society” making double impacts on the fostering of gratification and the contribution to society in return.
