The event of “Thousand Little Reporters Nationwide Interview ‘Lei Feng’ in Streets”, initiated by High School Students newspaper and Baidudu.cn, is a large public event in memory of Lei Feng Spirit and simultaneously carried out all over China. Volunteers from our school were responsible for organizing little reporters from different regions in Guangzhou. They were divided into teams, which were assigned to eight locations for volunteer work including Guangzhou Kangfulai Traditional Chinese Medicine House, Guangdong Provincial Museum, Xiguan Houses, Panyu Zhongcun Village Gerocomium and so on. The volunteers utilized their specialties in interviewing and photographing, actively discovered good people, good deeds and touching stories, and encouraged little reporters to interview ‘Lei Feng’ around them. Meanwhile, volunteers shared with little reporters their pleasure in volunteer work and exchanged their understanding of Lei Feng Spirit.
