2012 "Ten Proposals" Competition Ends in Success

The final competition of four campuses, the "A Good, Joint Development --- Advice and Suggestions for SYSU development" proposal activity was held in Chinese Language and Literature Department Hall on South Campus on the evening of June 5. It was co-hosted by Organization Department of the SYSU Committee of the CPC, SYSU Student Affairs Office, SYSU Graduate School and SYSU Youth League Committee. SYSU President Xu Ningsheng, Deputy CPC Secretary Zhu Kongjun, leaders and faculty senates from more than 20 functional departments attended the final.

In his keynote speech, President Xu Ningsheng first reviewed the implementations of the previous "Ten Proposals", and then showed his sincere gratitude to all the students who express their concern to and actively participated in the development of SYSU. President Xu said, the proposals not only reflected the wisdom of students, but also their voices. Therefore, he wish that functional departments could attach great importance to those excellent proposals, since by doing so, the whole university could work as one, and drive the development of SYSU forward together.
