SYSU Team Won Gold Award in the 4th China University Students PR Plan Contest

Recently, the final of the 4th China University Students PR Plan Contest concluded in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Teachers and students from the School of Communication and Design took an active part in the contest and 12 teams representing Sun Yat-sen University won prizes: 1 gold award, 4 second prizes and 7 third prizes. The team G.D.M., consisting of four students from the School of Communication and Design Zhang Qi, Qiu Xin, Yang Yang and Ye Shunyao, and guided by two teachers Deng Lifeng and Zhang Jie, won the gold award, which is the fourth consecutive gold award won by SYSU teams in the contest.
In the final of the contest, SYSU students competed with 20 teams. Geely Dream Makers, the proposal of the team G.D.M., received high praise from the judges. At the talent show after the final competition, G.D.M. team members gave an impromptu hip-hop performance, displaying a demeanor of SYSU students. As Xie Jingfen, director and general manager of Guangdong Success PR & Management Consultants Ltd. (Success PR) and a judge of the contest, said when he talked about the team G.D.M.,"The competition is intense, and it is hard to get high scores from the judges of different professional and cultural backgrounds. The SYSU team won the contest because of their firm theoretical basis, acute insight of market, and mature competence in planning and presenting."
