Led by Xu Nengjun, Alumni Mentor of Lingnan College at Sun Yat-sen University, over 40 undergraduates and their instructor visited Zhuhai Yunzhou Intelligent Technology Co., LTD on December 2, 2016. This visit was an important part of the “Red-Grey Leader Training Plan” of Lingnan College, which aims at broadening students’ social horizons and offering them an opportunity to experience the organization and management culture of modern corporations.
The development of Yunzhou-Tech reflects the rapid development of China’s scientific and technological industry. In only a few years since its establishment, the corporation has become the inland pioneer of the unmanned ship industry, and has been praised many times by national, provincial, and city-level leadership.

Guided by the staff of the company, students toured around the company and learned about its corporate culture. During the visit to the production line, the students witnessed the producing process of unmanned ships and were all amazed at the spirit of the craftsmen, which reflected Yunzhou-Tech’s focus on details und pursuit of perfection. To end the visit, the corporate official gave detailed answers to questions from the students so that they could be better acquainted with the operation and structure of the corporation.
Many students said that through the visit they all developed a deeper understanding of the modern corporate system. What’s more, the rapid development of national industry brings a strong sense of national pride to the students, and they are determined to “bring benefits to the society, win honor for the country”.
