Cultivating students’ competence to present China’s voice on the global stage has been one of the major missions of the School of Foreign Languages. The integration of curricular and extracurricular instruction is actively promoted by offering minor English courses and OTP at SYSU on the one hand, and organizing various English contests on campus on the other hand. Instruction teams are organized to offer guidance to students involved in provincial and national competitions. The outstanding achievements from this contest marked the beginning of a new journey, where students at SYSU continue to strive for a better future.
