The 17th National University Students Track and Field Championship kicked off in Ordos Sports Center on July 15, 2017. Xue Dajun from Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) won the first place in the 100-meter dash at 10.47 seconds, and the first place in the 200-meter dash at 21.49 seconds.


Xuan Dajun was enrolled in the School of Government of SYSU as a high-level athlete student in 2016. He is coached by Li Yi and Xu Baoyun from the Department of Physical Education of SYSU. Now he has been selected into the Track and Field Team of Guangdong University Students, and will take part in the 13th National Student Sports Games to be held in Hangzhou in September.
