A Global Mind for A Globalized World
Daniel J. Brutto, economic advisor to governor of Guangdong province and president of UPS International, visited SYSU on November 18 and delivered a speech titled A Global Mind for a Globalized World, in which he used his own experiences and practical cases to illustrate how to establish a global consciousness and succeed in the globalization. Before the speech, SYSU vice president Chen Chunsheng carried out a conversation Mr. Brutto.

As president of UPS International, Dan Brutto is responsible for all international package, freight forwarding and logistics businesses, as well as U.S. international package services. He is also a member of UPS's Management Committee, responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. He is currently in Guangzhou to attend the “2009 International Consultative Conference on the Future Economic Development of Guangdong Province” to be convened on November 19-20 as an economic advisor to the provincial governor.
