On the afternoon of November 18, the signing ceremony for “Fang Yuan Academic Fund for School of Law, SYSU” took place at the school of Law. As 1983 year alumni of the Department of law and the founders of the fund, Fang Ming, President of Guangdong Fang Yuan Corp, together with his wife He Kangkang, attended the signing ceremony. The academic fund set up by Alumni Fang Ming and He Kangkang with a donation of one million yuan is mainly designed for regulate invitations of famous scholars to give lectures at School of Law in the following five years and for the edition and publishing work of SYSU Law Review. at the signing ceremony, deputy Secretary of Standing Party Committee Liang Qingyin expressed his appreciation to them on behalf of Sun Yat-sen University. Vice President Xu Zhongming said in his speech that the School of Law will properly arrange and make use of this fund to further promote the academic development and students cultivation work of School of Law.
