On March 11^th and 12^th, Zheng Detao, the secretary of Party committee of Sun Yat-sen University, Li Ping, the vice secretary, and other members paid an official visit to Hong Kong donors including the executive director Jinguo Wanyi and the associate director Kuang of Kuok Group Funds ,Sun Hung Kai Properties, and Doctor Zeng Xianzi the president of board of Goldlion Group, as well as the president of Myer Jewelry Mfr. Ltd.Doctor Xian Weijian and his wife.

On behalf of the university, Secretary Zheng Detao expressed his sincere gratitude to the donors who were generous enough to contribute funds to support the students, to whom he also presented the souvenirs as gifts. Additionally, he introduced the recent educational development of our university meanwhile communicated amicably with them about the donation projects.
This visit, which would improve the future communication and mutual understanding of both sides, received a warm welcome from the donors. It also achieved desirable results through the meetings where donors all demonstrated their willingness to enhance support for the university in the future.
