Sun Yat-sen University Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Held a Re-Election Meeting

On the morning of March 21, the re-election meeting of Sun Yat-Sen University Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese was held in south campus, with almost 120 members of the federation attending the meeting. Many leaders have attended the meeting, such as Member of the Party Committee of Guangdong province Returned Overseas Chinese Association, deputy inspector He Hongxing, vice minister Lin Jianguang of the Liaison Department, deputy secretary Ling Ping of school party committee, minister Guo Xiaocong of the United Front Work Department an so on. The meeting was hosted by vice president Zheng Meilian of the school federation. President Lin Yuyin of the school federation gave a work report in the meeting. This meeting elected a new leading group, with Lin Yuyin as the president, Zhang Beizhuang and Yang Chao as the vice presidents.

On behalf of the school party committee, Deputy Secretary Li Pin expressed her sincere gratitude to the caring and support that our school federation had received from the province association, as well as the contributions that all the previous leading groups and federation members had made to the development of the nation and our school. Deputy Secretary Li Ping stated that the re-election is a new start for the work of our school federation, she hoped that under the guidance of the new leading group, our federation members could be more united, do better work, and continue to make greater contributions to the development of the nation and our school.

On behalf of Guangdong province Returned Overseas Chinese Association, Deputy Inspector He Hongxiong expressed warm celebration for the meeting, as well as sincere thanks for the attention that our school party committee and leaders had paid to the work of the federation, and also affirmed those work that our school federation had done. He hoped that the new leading group would continue to unite the federation members and converge their strength, stick to paying equal attention to homeland and the abroad, as well as to the senior and new federation members, publicize principles and policies of the party and nation, and guide talents to return home and make positive contributions to the economic constructions of Guangdong and development of Sun Yat-Sen University.
