Taiwan Shih Chien University has a long and intimate relationship with our university. Mr Xie Dongmin, founder of Shih Chien University and the sixth deputy leader of Taiwan, was graduated from Department of Political Science, School of Law of our university. He had deep affection for his alma mater, and strongly supported “One China” policy throughout his life. His son, Chairman Xie Mengxiong has paid several visits to our school and given speeches. Despite of many years’ dedication to the field of education, Professor Lin Chengzhi is also active in the party and government sectors of Taiwan.
