On February 2nd (Lunar New Year’s Eve) at 11 a.m., all the four campuses of SYSU have prepared hearty festival dinner for the students still staying at school during the spring festival. To this school leaders attached great importance; they visited the students and then ate the festival dinner together with them.

Zhu Kongjun Deputy Secretary went to visit the students staying at Zhuhai Campus and held dinner party with them for the Spring Festival; Vice-president Xu Anlong went to South Campus, Vice-president Chen Chunsheng to East Campus;

Vice-president Li Mengfeng to North Campus. In addition, leaders and teachers from various offices and departments also spent the Spring Festival with the students.During this winter vacation there are about 5000 students staying at school, of which 500 have attended the dinner party. Various measures have been taken to make sure that these students would have a happy and auspicious Spring Festival. Besides the hearty festival dinner, there are also delicious dumplings for them on New Year’s Eve. And other activities are held to enrich students’ vacation life. Economic helps are also given to students whose families are facing financial difficulties. Even during the winter vacation there are teachers on duty to make sure that students have a norm life.
