On December 15, Dato' Zainal Abu Zarin Chairman of Asian Paralympic Committee came to SYSU Venue to watch the boccia match accompanied by Zhong Minghua vice director of SYSU Venue Team Service and Dean of Education School. Zhong has introduced to Mr. Zainal Abu Zarin the relevant information about the organizing and ongoing of the sports event at SYSU Venue.

The boccia match of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Para Games is held at SYSU Venue, and the boccia athletes have to rely on the wheelchair since they have either serious cerebral-palsy or physical disabilities or other similar diseases, which make the organizing and preparing for this match difficult. After the match, Mr. Abu Zarin spoke highly of the excellent work that SYSU Venue Team had done for the boccia match. He said that "what you have done for the success of this event, and the passions and efforts you have put in all deserve our respect”.
