The assessment results of National Natural Science Foundation program of 2010 were recently announced. So far, SYSU has been funded in 413 programs of various types. With a sustainable growth, the funds have succeeded more than 136 million. Among the projects, there are 10 key items, which ranked the third among universities in China. There are 253 general programs, 50 more than that of last year with a growth rate of 24.6%, which ranked the fifth among universities. There are 144 youth science fund programs, 56 more than that of last year with a growth rate of 63.6%, which ranked the fifth among all the universities in China.
