During July 6 to July 9, Jane Permaul, Chairman of American Lingnan Foundation, together with other 3 people, visited SYSU to carry out a four day program annual inspection. Vice president Xu Ningsheng and Chen Chunsheng met with the guests and carried out communications on aspects such as SYSU’s development status, internationalization plans, undergraduate education, etc. It is expected that the American Lingnan Foundation would, as always, support the development of SYSU.

Chairman Jane Permaul and her party had an informal discussion with the faculty who took part in SYSU mid-age and young backbone teachers program as well as the leaders of Bo Ya class, the High Institute of Humanities and Lingnan College, etc. regarding the developing status of each financial aid program and they fully affirmed the achievements brought by part of the programs.

The American Lingnan Foundation has maintained a friendly relationship with SYSU since 1980. For the past 30 years, the foundation has been always paying close attention on the development of SYSU and providing financial and other aids for SYSU.
