As April's warmth envelops the Lingnan region, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) joins the nation in observing Qingming Festival - a profound Chinese tradition intertwining ancestral remembrance with spring's awakening. Falling on April 4 this year, this occasion serves simultaneously as one of China's 24 solar terms and its most significant memorial holiday, which embodies the vitality of spring, the renewal of hope, and the cycle of life itself.
