    Considerable influence and academic status with the ability to maintain high standards of excellence in the discipline, both domestically and internationally.

    Under 45 years old.

    3. Associate Professor (Tenure-track):

    Strong capabilities of scientific research and technological innovation, with high-level achievements in talent cultivation or academic research.

    Demonstrated professional influence both domestically and internationally.

    Proven potential to become an academic leader or outstanding scholar in their discipline.

    Under 40 years old.

    4. Assistant Professor (Tenure-track):

    Broad academic horizon, innovative thinking skills and solid research foundation.

    Broad evidence of high-level academic results.

    Demonstrated substantial potential for academic development.

    Humanities and Social Sciences: Under 38 years old; Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine: Under 35 years old.

    1. Top Talents (including research-oriented and clinical):

    (1) Experts and scholars with high academic attainments and significant contributions to talent cultivation or academic research, recognized both domestically and internationally.

    (2) Specifically, clinical leading talents should also possess the following qualifications:

    (a) A nationally recognized educational background in clinical medicine, with significant clinical experience and the demonstrated ability to meet the demand of the position.

    (b) Currently hold a position as a chief physician, typically accompanied by a professorial appointment.

    (c) Qualified as a doctoral supervisor, with a proven track record of directly recruiting or mentoring graduate students.

  • Teaching Positions

    1. Teaching Professor

    Commitment to professional education is required. Substantial teaching experience is preferred.

    At least 5 years of experience as an Associate Teaching Professor or Associate Professor in Teaching and Research.

    Outstanding achievements in teaching, including demonstrated commitment to educational reform, innovative curriculum development, high-quality course and textbook design, effective teaching team building, and mentorship of young educators.

    Under 50 years old.

    2. Associate Teaching Professor

    Commitment to professional education is required. Substantial teaching experience is preferred.

    At least 2 years of experience as a Lecturer or/and Assistant Professor.

    Proven ability to effectively deliver basic or public courses and meet required teaching workload.

    A track record of accomplishments in educational reform and research.

    Under 40 years old

    3. Lecturer

    A strong educational background and commitment to teaching is required.

    Proven ability to effectively deliver basic or public courses.

    Under 35 years old.

  • Research-oriented Faculty

    (1) Research Professor:

    Hold a senior professional or technical position, or an equivalent role in universities, institutions and renowned companies, domestically or internationally

    A proven track record of at least 3 landmark research achievements or significant results. This appropriate number may vary based on individual cases.

    For domestic applicants: A proven track record of leading or participating in national scientific research projects.

    For international applicants: A proven track record of conducting high-level scientific research projects.

    Under 45 years old.

    (2) Associate Research Professor:

    Hold an associate professional or technical position, or an equivalent role in universities, institutions and renowned companies, domestically or internationally.

    A proven track record of at least 3 representative achievements or 1 particularly outstanding achievement.

    Under 40 years old.

    (3) Assistant Research Professor:

    Hold a postdoctoral position, lecturer, or assistant professor position, or has equivalent research experience at renowned universities or research institutions, domestically or internationally.

    Proven track record of at least 2 significant research contributions or 1 outstanding research achievement.

    Under 35 years old.

  • Postdoctoral Fellows

    1. Post-doctoral Fellow:

    Under 35 years old.

    Doctoral degree obtained within the past years.

    Familiar with higher education systems and trends both domestically and internationally.

    Demonstrate international academic vision, rigorous academic standards, and exceptional scientific research capabilities.

    2. “Yat-sen” Postdoctoral Fellow:

    Fulfill the qualifications for the postdoctoral fellowship program.

    A doctoral degree from a world-class university or in a recognized world-class discipline.
