On August 19, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) kicked off the registration process for its incoming Class of 2025 undergraduate students, with over 8,000 new students arriving at the Guangzhou South Campus to embark on their academic journey.

As they stepped into this new chapter, the entire SYSU community stood with them: future teachers, fellow classmates, dedicated staff, and 1,688 volunteers—all part of the university’s warm welcome effort—supported the freshmen every step of the way.

The campus also offered rich experiences to help freshmen integrate into SYSU life. A “Club Carnival” featured diverse interactions—including music performances, dance shows, and technology exhibitions—allowing freshmen to immerse themselves in the vibrant “second classroom” culture and explore the infinite possibilities of campus life.
