This suite was originally premiered by the School of Art during SYSU's centennial celebration last year. The reimagined youth edition condenses the original six-movement symphony into four, with a more vibrant and dynamic musical language. It preserves the profound historical essence of the original while infusing it with youthful vitality.

As a landmark original cultural achievement of SYSU's centennial celebration, the large-scale symphonic suite The Doctrines of Our University was composed by Associate Professor Wenhe Han of the School of Art. Centered on the main melody of the Sun Yat-sen University Anthem as its core thread, the piece revolves around the dual themes of university spirit and national destiny. It depicts a grand epic of how the university's faculty and students have been committed to serving the country over the past century, sharing weal and woe with the Chinese nation.
