President Gao Song Met with the Chief Executive of APRU
On November 1st, Prof. Thomas Schneider, the Chief Executive of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), and his delegation visited SYSU. President Gao Song met with the guests in Zhongshan Building on the Guangzhou South Campus. Representatives of the SYSU CYL Committee, Office of Education Administration and Office of International Cooperation & Exchange attended the meeting.

University of Minnesota Delegation Visited SYSU
On October 19th, Harvey Charles, Vice Provost of the University of Minnesota (UMN), led a delegation to visit SYSU. Executive Vice President Xiao Haipeng met with the guests in Room 313, Zhongshan Building, Guangzhou South Campus. Representatives from Lingnan College, School of Government and Guanghua School of Stomatology attended the meeting.

Secretary Chen Chunsheng led a delegation to visit France and Belgium
From September 25th to 28th, Professor Chen Chunsheng, Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, led a high-level academic delegation of SYSU to visit France and Belgium. He discussed with local universities, government departments and relevant institutions on deepening cultural exchanges and higher education cooperation, promoting cross-disciplinary research, and improving the talent training.

Professor Stephen Gethins, Assistant Vice Principal and Dean of International of the University of St Andrews, and Professor Liang Fong-Wong, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor Internationalization of the University of Bristol, visited Sun Yat-sen University on September 22, 2023.
