I. Basic Requirements

 (1) Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, adhere to the correct political ideology, abide by the Constitution and laws of the People's Republic of China, stay loyal to the cause of education, observe the rules and regulations of the University;

 (2) Observe professional ethics and possess a rigorous academic attitude;

 (3) Be familiar with rules of higher education system and the state of higher education both domestically and abroad; 

 (4) Possess an international academic vision and ideas to lead the development of the discipline field; 

 (5) Be in good health, able to work onsite during employment.

II. Positions and Requirements

(1) Research Professor: Should hold a senior professional or technical position or an equivalent position in China or at foreign universities, research institutions, or well-known enterprises; achieved at least 3 remarkable research results or important results; this number requirement is not absolute but dependent on individual cases. Domestic applicants should have experience in undertaking national scientific research projects as the person in charge; overseas talents should have experience in undertaking high-level scientific research projects. Under 45 years old.

 (2) Research Associate Professor: Should hold a senior professional or technical position or an equivalent position in China or at foreign universities, research institutions, or well-known enterprises; attained at least 3 representative research results or important achievements; this number requirement is not absolute but dependent on individual cases. Under 40 years old.

 (3) Research Assistant Professor: Should hold a post-doctoral position, lecturer or assistant professor position or have relevant research experience in China or at foreign universities and research institutions; attained at least 2 representative achievements or 1 particularly outstanding representative achievement. Under 35 years old.
