The Guangzhou South Campus Clinic

The Guangzhou South Campus Clinic, located on the beautiful Guangzhou South Campus of SYSU, is an extension institute of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. There are the following departments in the Clinic: internal medicine (including fever clinic and enteric diseases clinic), surgery, general practice, traditional Chinese medicine, gynecology, stomatology, dermatology, E.N.T., ophthalmology, physiotherapy, prevention and health care, radiation, B-ultrasound checking room, home healthcare service, clinical laboratory, and pharmacy. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital sends out some specialists to see outpatients at the Guangzhou South Campus Clinic according to needs. At present, the cardiovascular and orthopedic surgery specialist departments have been set up (See the Clinic announcement for the specific schedule). The Clinic has 73 medical, nursing and pharmaceutical technical personnel, including 6 personnel with senior titles. It is devoted to providing high quality and convenient medical treatment, health care and physical examination services for the students, faculty, staff and their family members on the Guangzhou South Campus. It also cooperates with other departments to jointly prevent and control infectious diseases.

The Guangzhou East Campus Clinic

The Guangzhou East Campus Clinic is managed by The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. It provides medical services for the faculty, staff and students in SYSU, and offers on-site medical support services in large-scale activities on Guangzhou East Campus. There are the following departments in the Clinic: internal medicine (including fever clinic and enteric diseases clinic), surgery, general practice, prevention and health care, clinical laboratory, and pharmacy.

The Health Service Center of Zhuhai Campus

The Health Service Center of Sun Yat-sen University Zhuhai Campus, formerly known as the Outpatient Department of Sun Yat-Sen University Zhuhai Campus, was established in September 2002. It is managed by The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and renamed as Health Service Center in 2010. It provides quality medical services to teachers and students of Zhuhai Campus, as well as medical care services for large-scale activities on campus. It opens a general outpatient clinic (24 hours), providing outpatient, emergency, and patient visit services. The critically ill patients will be transferred to the hospital (The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University) for treatment by the 120 ambulances of the hospital. The outpatient department can carry out electrocardiogram, three routine examinations and various blood tests. The treatments that can be carried out include: injection, infusion, dressing change, debridement and suture, ultrasonic atomization inhalation, and various physical treatments.
