    The Confucius Institute at Ateneo de Manila University (CI-ADMU) was established in 2006. It is the first Confucius Institute in the Philippines. The mission of the Confucius Institute is to promote Chinese language, Chinese culture and the knowledge of contemporary China to the mainstream society in the Philippines. It has helped establish several Confucius Classrooms in the Metro Manila area.   • The Confucius Institute at Autonomous University of Yucatan


    The Confucius Institute at Autonomous University of Yucatan (CI-UADY) was established in 2007. The Confucius Institute is located in the city of Merida, Mexico. It offers Chinese language classes and promotes Chinese culture in the community. It is also one of the two HSK testing centers in Mexico.     The Confucius Institute at University of Cape Town was established in 2010. In keeping with the vision of integrating the CI as part and parcel of University of Cape Town, the Confucius Institute has brought Chinese language into the university and the local community since its birth. Reflecting the expanding tradition of friendship and cooperation between China and the South Africa, the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Town represents the essential link between the People of China and the citizens of the Commonwealth of Cape Town.
