A delegation from Institut De Recherches Servier visited School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of SYSU

On the morning of April 20, 2015, a delegation from Institut De Recherches Servier visited the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Members of the delegation included Dr. Patrick GENISSEL (Centre of Excellence Director Research & Biopharmacy, Vice President Research & Development), Dr. Pierre RENARD (Associate Director of Research), Dr. Patrick WÜTHRICH (Director Centre of Excellence Pharmaceutical Development), Dr. Jean-Manuel PÉAN (Head of Formulation Development), Dr. WANG Xuan (Senior Advisor), and Prof. Paul M. Vanhoutte from The University of Hong Kong. Prof. Wu Chuanbin, Vice Dean of SPS, received the delegation.

At the meeting, Dr. Jean-Manuel PÉAN introduced the R&D projects and equipment in Servier. Prof. Wu Chuanbin introduced the latest development in pharmaceutical research at SPS. Associate Professor Lu Ming, Lecturer Pan Xin and postgraduate students in Pharmaceutics attended the meeting and participated in the discussions. The two sides also discussed joint research projects and details of cooperation.

Afterwards, the delegation paid a visit to the lab of SPS accompanied by Prof. Wu Chuanbin.
