We are delighted to announce that the
Chinese Journal of Cancer, also known as CJC, sponsored by Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, was awarded with “The Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China” on December 16th, 2014, by the Center for International Evaluation Research of Chinese Academic Literatures in Beijing. On a range of 6,400 Chinese academic journals in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and science and technology, CJC was ranked the 23rd according to the number of international citations in 2014.
The
Chinese Journal of Cancer (CJC) started its publication in 1982. Publishing original contents in the field of cancer research, CJC innovates in offering original views, reviews and perspectives in this field. Through the years, CJC has evolved, becoming an international actor in the world of academic Journals by starting to publish in English from 2010 onwards. In 2013, CJC was ranked the 55th in “The Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China” by the Center for International Evaluation Research of Chinese Academic Literatures. Within a year, CJC rose from 55th to 23rd in the ranking, showing an increasing impact abroad.
This is another achievement for CJC in 2014. In July, CJC became SCI indexed (Science Citation Index), recognized internationally as an important journal in the world of oncology, destined for a great future. In September, it obtained the prestigious title of “Outstanding S&T Journals of China” delivered by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China.
