HKU teachers and students visiting Hospital of Stomatology of SYSU
 

The opening ceremony of the student exchange program was held on the morning of August 5. The attendees included Prof. Zhang Chengfei and Prof. Michael George Botelho from HKU Faculty of Dentistry; Secretary Li Xiangzhi, Executive Deputy Dean Cheng Bin, Vice-Dean Chen Xiaohua, Vice-Dean Lin Huancai, Vice-Dean Lin Zhengmei and Assistant Dean Wang Yan from Guanghua School of Stomatology. Lin Zhengmei introduced the talent cultivation, frontier research, medical quality, and international cooperation and exchange of Guanghua School of Stomatology. Wang Yan introduced the development of stomatological education and prosthodontics in mainland China.

On August 5-8, HKU teachers and students visited the teaching building of Guanghua School of Stomatology, Hospital of Stomatology, Institute of Stomatological Research, Zhujiang New Town Dental Clinic, Museum of Medical Specimens, South Campus of SYSU, as well as private dental clinic and private dental hospital. In addition, they also attended lectures and visited Guangdong Museum, Whampoa Military Academy, etc.
