On January 26, for celebrating the Year of the Snake and Chinese New Year, SYSU organized a reunion banquet for students who remained on campus. Over 2,000 students, including international students gathered together on five campuses of SYSU, enjoying festive food and joyous vibes of Spring Festival.

During the celebration event, students experienced traditional Spring Festival culture through activities such as writing Spring Festival couplets (chunlian), as well as writing the Chinese character fu, which means happiness and luck, on red paper.

The university leaders also conveyed greetings and Spring Festival blessings to students at the gathering, extending heartfelt wishes for good health and happiness.
